M HX Series Heated Modular Adsorption Dryers
−40 °C dew point on a fraction of the purge

Heated modular adsorption dryers from 6.5 to 55 Nm³/min. The same modular chamber construction as the M NX, with an electric heater on the regeneration air — deeper dew point, a far longer cycle and less air thrown away. Purge falls to 5 % (3 % minimum) and the cycle stretches from minutes to hours. A twin-tower CH build reaches −70 °C.
Models: M50HX to M500HX · 11 models + CH tower · Compressed air dryers
- −40 °C Standard dew point
- −70 °C On the CH tower build
- 5 % Purge air, 3 % minimum
- 6.5–55 Nm³/min
Key specifications
| Pressure dew point | ≤ −40 °C, guaranteed |
|---|---|
| Purge air, published | 5 % standard, 3 % minimum |
| Cycle time | Adjustable — see technical annex |
| Working pressure | 6 – 10 bar g (7 bar g rating) |
| Maximum inlet air temperature | 38 °C (hard limit) |
| Ambient temperature | 2 – 45 °C |
| Pressure drop at full load | 0.21 bar |
| Regeneration | Heated purge at ≈ 180 °C |
| Inlet oil content | Oil-free or ≤ 0.1 ppm |
| Noise | Below 70 dB at 1 m |
Why this range
- Regeneration air heated to about 180 °C strips far more water per unit volume
- ≤ −40 °C pressure dew point guaranteed on every model
- Hours per tower instead of minutes — valves and desiccant see far fewer cycles
- Smaller frames run on 220 V single phase
- The middle route: less purge than heatless, less capital and complexity than zero purge
